SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 Pandemic: Important Information on Cooperation
Dear business partners and companions of the Fraunhofer IBMT,
due to the current dynamic situation, we would like to inform you about the status at our institute with regard to joint cooperation.
1. Protection of our employees and business partners: In order to protect our employees, business partners and the society, we responsibly and consistently implement the official guidelines and regulations at state and federal level as well as the individual instructions of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
2. Ability to work via home office: After assessing the information available on the overall situation, the institute management of the Fraunhofer IBMT has decided - with effect from March 17, 2020 (5 p.m.) - to temporarily close all Fraunhofer IBMT sites for an initial period of 14 days until March 31, 2020, and to switch to mobile working as far as possible.
3. Accessibility: Our employees are located in the home office and can currently only be reached by e-mail or telephone. If you have any questions regarding current projects, please get in touch with your personal contact person. Our employees are continuing the projects and are using digital tools in a targeted manner in order to continue to communicate and work with you efficiently. However, we ask for your understanding should the answering of your questions take longer than usual. If you are unable to reach your individual contact person, please send an e-mail to our general contact e-mail under "Contacts". We would then forward your inquiry internally for the fastest possible answer.
4. Communication: The Fraunhofer IBMT will reopen at the earliest possible date in order to continue to make its important contribution to biomedical research. We will inform you here as soon as something changes with regard to our ability to work and availability.
